Wild Bill vs. Franuel

Wild Bill, the juggernaut that he is, comes into this matchup as a heavy favorite.

Franuel, who wins the coldest of hearts, steps into the ring as an underdog knowing the people will soon have a new treasured, first-choice pick.

In an unexpected twist, they are actually on the same team and though their opposite lives may have pitted each other against one another, they found a way to make it work since day one.

Wild Bill who has never been in a relationship, and Franuel, who is now divorced, met in the wildest of places: the World Wide Web. Both were not looking for anything serious, but by the 3rd date, the truth came out; Fran had recently ended her marriage and didn’t want this to go any further without Bill knowing.

Little to her knowledge, he already knew and played it cool while still showing his care.

“Are you okay?” He said.

And in that moment she immediately felt relief and safe knowing he could handle her baggage and she would do everything she could to learn and handle his. Knowing now that this was a safe space to express themselves and grow personally, this relationship flourished at a rate that some might think was a bit quick, but those on the inside made easy sense out of. The two young lovers were inseparable: they went to shows together, sat in on each other’s haircuts, started going to the gym at the same time and picked up each other’s mannerisms along the way.

Though a lot of people, especially in Fran’s inner circle, questioned the quick turnaround between relationships, their uncertainty made her even more sure. And while Bill had had several chances to be with other people, he was never certain that he wanted to be with someone until he met Fran.

It’s been almost a year filled with checking things off of their to-do list, but as one gets checked off another 15 come along to add to the list. There doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for the journey and that’s how they intend on keeping it. We’ll check back in at a later date to make sure nothing goes too far off the righteous path.
