A Closer Look: Standout Performances in the NFL Divisional Round

So I wasn’t able to watch most of these games due to some personal events going on, what I might say about some of these teams is liable to be coming from a place of incorrect assumptions and fallacies. But I do think I got the gist of it.
The Ravens went out there and took care of business. The score makes it look like it was closer than it really was going into the second half, but the magic ran out for Houston and Baltimore took it right to them. I was surprised that CJ Stroud and that offense didn’t account for a TD of their own, so that feels like a good measuring stick of where they are and how they stack up compared to the best of the best. Nothing to hang their heads about.
The San Francisco 49ers won and that is something that all the good people of the planet can celebrate. We can rest easy for another year knowing that love is not dead, that there is still good on this earth.
I’m a bit confused by what exactly happened at the end of the Bucs-Lions game. It looks like Tampa could have maybe called a timeout and made the Lions try a field goal/snap it again at the very least but they opted to let the clock run? Others are saying they actually didn’t have that timeout? I have no idea what happened there. Detroit is rocking out tho, I think I’ll be pulling for them hardcore from here on out. Hopefully that isn’t the kiss of death for them lol.
The Chiefs and Bills is the one game that I got to catch the last 20ish minutes of. It feels like Josh Allen really only knows how to play one brand of football and if things don’t go exactly right then it might fall apart. Its a shame that the receivers couldn’t come down with some of those dimes down the field, its a shame that it came down to a kick attempt that was unsuccessful (the entire loss doesn’t fall on the kicker and I hate to see them blame themselves and fans say mean things to them), but it was funny to see the Kansas City team getting snowballs thrown towards them on the sideline when they lined up in victory formation. I hope that place never changes.
I plan on never having a weekend where I watch this little amount of the actual games being played while they’re being played.
