A long overdue encore of my writing talent

Alright so I’m not gonna write every single day it seems. A lot has happened, I’m not gonna go super into detail so I’ll gloss over the highlights.

My Cubbies have absolutely taken me by surprise this season. Cody Bellinger is a beast. Justin Steele is who I thought he could be, BEAST. Suzuki is coming alive, BEAST. Christopher Morel, a certified clutch DAWG/BEAST. I’ve got some high hopes, the team starts a series against AZ later tonight, I think they’re playing the best ball of the year right now, and with a series against Colorado coming up on deck, I think they can make up some serious ground on taking the division from those Wisconsin bastards. I’d take some hardware (MVP (Bellinger), Cy Young (Steele)) before the playoffs, which I feel very comfortable assuming that they’ll be in contention in October. I think they’ve earned just as much. My sources are telling me that Wrigley is rocking and they’re ready for another run to the promised land. Cubs in 3.5.

The NFL Season kicks off tonight as well, with a surprising display of our modern-day dynasty in the Kansas City Chiefs and the team perpetually stuck in the doldrums of the league, the lovable-loser Detroit Lions. The Lions HC Dan Campbell is a breath of fresh air and his personality is electric. I think they’ll keep it close?? But idk man, Mahomes has this football shit figured out, I think they’ll cover their 4.5 point spread. I’m just happy the season is starting back up.

My Bears have the most important part of their season immediately this Sunday at 1:25 PM Local Central Time. The stupid, dumb, no-good, very bad green and yellow team have handed the keys to the “kingdom” over to their heir-apparent QB and I couldn’t be more excited. There is no chance in hell that lightning can strike the same spot THREE times in a row and I am foaming at the mouth at the thought of that fanbase eating the absolute most amount of shit. Its about time that the North goes right back to where it belongs: the big, broad-shouldered, industrious, hard working, blue-collared city on the Lake and to the child of the founder of the League that we all love. Bears by a million on Sunday, I can already hear the “*ackers SUCK” chants

I’ll check back in at the beginning of next week, maybe I’ll start with a more realistic goal of a weekly blog? Idk, we’ll see if I can squeeze in another blog between GTA V and working my ass off for a company that doesn’t know I exist.
