Alright here’s another low quality blog from an airport. I didn’t even watch this last game since I decided to get blackout drunk in Old Town Chicago with high school friends, an occasion that I can only see becoming more frequent over the next several months to make the harsh reality of moving back home a little easier to swallow.
The Rays showed up here, huh? Doubles the Doyers in hits, got ahead early, never looked back, but the game was never really out of reach for LA. It was just a night where Tampa’s pitching had the upper hand, leading to the Dodgers going 0 for 6 with runners in scoring position. Signs of encouragement are that they haven’t quit slugging, all 4 runs that they had coming via the long ball.
Buehler vs Morton tonight. I think this might be the tightest game for both teams of the series. I think it’ll be low scoring and it might come down to small ball, which given his resume I believe Dave Roberts being at a disadvantage. If I were a betting man, which I’m not, but if I was, I think Tampa edges this one out by 2 runs or less. But hey, idk anything.
