***DISCLAIMER: I hate the packers and also don't have any idea how an NFL team functions.***
Is anybody else sick of the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers?
One of them is the real deal, has the most world championships in league history, has a fanbase that has seen down years and has stuck through with them. We can't REALLY take anything away from them. If your favorite team had the balls to cough up cash like the Steinbrenner's, I'm sure you'd take it too.
The other one THINKS they're the real deal, but have such an underachieving history in the past 30 years despite having Hall of Fame quarterbacks perennially in that timeframe. While most teams dream of having a gleaming, tall, bodacious player under center to lead them to the promised land, a glorified village in northern Wisconsin has somehow cracked the code on drafting these fucking assholes and hoarding them for themselves, dooming their careers to result in a single Super Bowl, just enough to keep the otherwise deprived population of Chicago's biggest and most distant suburb satisfied with putting on their puke green shirts every Sunday. Might as well wear a "I'm stupid" T shirt instead.
But it's all in fair play, isn't it? Surely they've earned it through the hard work and dedication to the gridiron that's personified by the stout, semi-toothless caricature of the classic football player pushing through sub-zero temperatures in the name of the team, right?

WRONG. The NFL just couldn't let their darling child flounder into mediocrity, and more importantly, economic turmoil. Lets not forget their recent drop in revenue from missing the playoffs in only back to back seasons. Imagine a world where the Packers....STINK AGAIN.

Oh you say otherwise? How about we give it a try? Try and tell me the last 30 years have put a smile on your face or on the face of anyone that MATTERS.
Bears by a million week 12

Almost forgot to mention those damn yankees. They looked pretty good tonight, huh? For sure my pick for the AL these days, not sure how in depth I'll go to write about them or the other series on that side of the bracket. Judge is a tank, Stanton is a tank, everything is moving like a well-oiled machine. Gerrit Cole went out, gave up a few tough dingers to a good lineup (it happens), but the team ended up giving him the run support they needed to take the opener.
Tyler Glasnow going for the Rays tomorrow. We'll see how the hot NY bats deal with this dude tomorrow, had a solid start against the jays, but these brutes are a different breed.
I'll go in depth for the SoCal Series tomorrow. Until then, Green Bay can eat shit.
